One of my favourite places in England

When I was a child we lived in devon for a few years and we went to Clovelly lots, its a stunning little village with steep cobbled streets that only accommodate donkeys - no cars! On the walk back up from the sea we always had a clotted cream ice cream :) The simple pleasures are what you remember! So when we went back in September I had to take Al. It's great to be able to show him little glimpses of my childhood, since most of it is scattered round the world there's not much I can show him 1st hand so this was quite a special day :)

5 month bump!

mmmm Ice cream :) takes your mind off the walk back up tho!

  4. Thanks for sharing Astra, what a lovely spot. I will have to put it on my wish list of places to visit sometime. I have had a day in Devon :( Not enough to do it justice. Your bump is looking great! I have just learned today that there is to be another baby in our extended family - yay.

  5. Lovely to hear from you. You both look so happy!

I know of Clovelly but have never visited. But I do know alot of North Devon as I spent many childhood holidays there.

It is a beautiful part of the world for sure.

Great to see you treating yourselves.

  6. My husband is from Devon and he has lots of family round there so we visit each year. Clovelly is lovely but our favourite place has got to be Dartmoor - a visit to Devon is not complete for us without a day on Dartmoor.

Glad you had a good hol and are keeping well.
